As part of our Inquiry on Sustainability, our Year 6 Learning Neighbourhood visited the Enviro Center to learn how we could be agents of change to help in the reduction of plastics. We also found out about composting, worm farms, Gizzy Kai Rescue and had a tour of the local shop selling items to help us reduce and reuse. We snuck in a quick trip to the Public Library and Botannical Gardens as well.

  1. Kia ora Room 12. It sounds like your visit to the Enviro Centre to learn more about sustainability was very interesting. Reducing plastics is something we're trying to do too. If everyone helps out a little, then together we can make a big difference. Nga mihi, Jo Haughey
